From the Factory Floor to the Canals of Venice – Alliance CFM’s Dan Visits Clivet SpA in Italy

At Alliance CFM, we believe the best way to understand the systems we install is to see exactly how they are designed, built and tested from the very beginning. That is why it was a fantastic opportunity for the Owner and Technical Director Dan, to recently visit Italy as a guest of Clivet SpA.

The trip gave Dan the chance to tour Clivet’s manufacturing facilities, meet people from across the HVAC and renewables industry and see first hand the level of engineering and quality control that goes into the systems we work with back in the UK. It was also a reminder of how important strong manufacturer relationships are within a fast moving industry like HVAC and renewables.

Seeing the Manufacturing Process Up Close

There is a huge difference between installing equipment and actually seeing how it is produced from the ground up. During the visit, Dan toured Clivet’s factory and experienced the manufacturing process, from engineering and assembly through to testing and quality control. Seeing the precision, innovation and attention to detail behind the systems gave him a completely different appreciation for the products Alliance CFM installs, services and maintains across Berkshire.

More Than Just a Factory Visit

The trip was not only about product knowledge. It also brought together professionals from across the HVAC and renewables industry to share ideas, discuss future technologies and build stronger industry relationships.

Dan described the visit as an incredible experience, particularly the opportunity to spend time with people from across the sector while learning more about where the industry is heading. Alongside the factory tour, the trip included wine tasting in the Italian countryside and a visit to Venice, making the experience even more memorable.

Why Strong Manufacturer Relationships Matter

At Alliance CFM, strong partnerships with manufacturers such as Clivet Group UK Ltd play a major role in maintaining high standards across HVAC and renewable projects. Having direct insight into how systems are engineered and tested gives Dan and the team a deeper understanding of the products they work with daily. That knowledge helps Alliance CFM continue delivering reliable installations, effective maintenance and high quality project execution for clients across the UK. It also reinforces the importance of working closely with manufacturers who are driving innovation within the industry.

Bringing That Knowledge Back to the UK

The HVAC and renewables industry continues to evolve rapidly, especially around energy efficiency, sustainability and smarter building technologies. Experiences like this help us stay closely connected to those developments. A huge thank you again to Clivet SpA and Clivet Group UK Ltd for the invitation, hospitality and the opportunity to experience the manufacturing and innovation behind their systems.
